    Heck yeah!!! But I will be praying we won’t facing bummer on the other end!!!! Especially if lambert is the qb…do we really want see part two of lambert vs Bama???

    It would make a huge story line that you know the sports writers, the SEC Network and whoever carries the game is praying for.

    bahits Greg Poole I am thinking we will see fullbacks deployed in short yardagegoaline packages but not used in the normal offense.  The tight ends have more playmaking ability.

    Greg Poole Bulltoad Payne’s a good receiver too, in the limited chances he’s had.  But it’ll probably be limited to surprise situations because there’s so much other talent.

    Bulltoad I think that will be the case, but it will not be eliminated. UGA has 5 FBs listed on the roster led by Welch and Payne. Two tough kids who will knock you into next week.

    I always thought Douglas would have played FB when he first came to UGA in 2013, but I was wrong. I think he would make a good FB, but he is a tenacious tailback.

    If you need 3 to 4 tough yards, he’s going to knock your arse on the ground to get ’em.

    Ella is Ella Dorsey – the weekend weather meteorologist for CBS46 Atlanta. Both she and the editor and owner of Bulldawg Illustrated will be doing a weekly podcast once the season starts. This first podcast was sort of an introductory show. We’ll be talking Georgia football, of course, as well as SEC and NFL, along with some fantasy football and some picks from the games each week. The next show will be the week of the game against North Carolina. 

    Hope you enjoyed it if you have had a chance to listen to it.

    Greg Poole bahits I don’t know enough to say.  I just would love for Douglas to get on the field and with Holyfield and Herrien coming along, it is looking like he will get less and less opportunity.

    Greg Poole bahits So, more likely that we move one of our great TEs around and back in the blocking back position as needed.  That works, too.  Which ones are the best at it?  With Woerner being hurt, I guess his usage there will be limited for a while.

    With our sudden wealth of RBs, do any of you see Douglas training some as FB?  Are there any NFL FBs through history that have similar body style?  How about former Dawgs?
