LUKE DEAL
CLASS: 2019
POSITION: TE
HT, WT: 6 foot 5, and 230 lbs
SCHOOL: Emerald High School
CITY, STATE: Greenwood, SC
STATUS: Undeclared
UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on Dec. 12th.
# OFFERS: 2
NEWS & NOTES: Georgia offered tight end Luke Deal on Dec. 12th. It was his second FBS offer, with NC State being the first program to offer Deal. The talented 6 foot 5, and 230 lbs junior also plays at DE for Emerald High and stepped in at QB in a couple of games. He also plays basketball for the Vikings.
Deal reminds me of current UGA commit, 2018 TE John Fitzpatrick out of Marist High School. Both have similar frames and are athletic for their size. Fitzpatrick may be a step faster than Deal. He is a ferocious blocker and does a really good job of getting out of stance and his hat and hands on a defender, often driving the defender down the field or to the ground on the play. As a receiver, he makes a lot of tough catches over the middle of the field, does a good job of catching the ball with his hands and not letting it go into his body.

RYLAND GOEDE
CLASS: 2019
POSITION: No. 5 TE
HT, WT: 6 foot 7, and 235 lbs
SCHOOL: Kennesaw Mt. High School
CITY, STATE: Acworth, GA
STATUS: Undeclared
UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 07/21/2016.
# OFFERS: 18
NEWS & NOTES: Ryland Goede has held an offer from the Bulldogs since July of 2016, and the Kennesaw Mountain TE has visited Georgia a number of times over the last year, including this fall for the Mississippi State game back on Sept. 23rd, UGA’s homecoming versus Missouri on Oct. 14th, and the Bulldogs’ game versus South Carolina on Nov. 4th.
He also visited Clemson and Auburn over the summer in June, and has been back to Auburn again a couple of times this fall on Nov. 11th and on Nov. 25th. Goede went up north to visit Michigan back on the weekend of Oct. 7th. One other school he visited during the fall was Florida on Nov. 18th. As of right now, Goede is a heavy Georgia lean, but NSD 2019 is a long way off.

ETHAN RAE
CLASS: 2019
POSITION: No. 6 TE
HT, WT: 6 foot 5, and 240 lbs
SCHOOL: Orange Lutheran High School
CITY, STATE: Orange, CA
STATUS: Undeclared
UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 04/27/2017.
# OFFERS: 14
NEWS & NOTES: UGA offered Ethan Rae back in the spring of 2017 in April. The California high school football prospect is favoring the west coast schools at the moment and that is understandable. But as the 2019 recruiting cycle heats up, it will be interesting to see if Georgia and any of the other programs East of the Mississippi have any pull on Rae.
Rae is still considered one of the top-ten tight ends in the 2019 class, but he has seen his ranking drop some due to a season ending knee injury he suffered back in August. I look for him to return to form for his senior year and have a monster season.

KEON ZIPPERER
CLASS: 2019
POSITION: No. 3 TE
HT, WT: 6 foot 3, and 232 lbs
SCHOOL: Lakeland High School
CITY, STATE: Lakeland, FL
STATUS: Undeclared
UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on June 15th.
# OFFERS: 23
NEWS & NOTES: Keon Zipperer camped and visited UGA over the summer on June 15th and received an offer from the Dogs the very same day. Georgia’s offer is one of twenty-three that Keon has received so far as he is considered one of the top three tight ends in the 2019 recruiting class. Right now, he is leaning towards a couple of the Sunshine State schools in the Gators and the Seminoles. Keon visited FSU back in the fall on Oct. 7th, and Clemson on Nov. 11th.
