    MMCSDAWG Greg Poole I think for kick-offs we have an all girl langerie squad that comes in.  Maybe, the cheerleaders?   

    Would this be a title 9 violation?

    MMCSDAWG Greg Poole and safety has gotten out of hand it is a contact sport and there is and always will be risk. I understand some of the new rules, but please don’t degrade the game so bad that we begin to play touch football in shorts and helmets! No one ever held a gun on anyone and made them play football it was a choice.

    Well found out last Thursday my office is closing. The lady that works for me will retire and I will now work out of my home and my truck. So no more going to the office, not sure how that is going to work.

    AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Ask N. Saban about the effect of kicking off and the effect of the onsides kick they executed against Clemson last year in the NC game.  That single event changed the complexion of that game.  He studied them, he watched them during the first few kick offs, they knew Clemson was leaving a HUGE hole, and what did they do?  take advantage of it and change the momentum of the game!

    MMCSDAWG Greg Poole exactly, it’s a major part of field position and can alter the game in a matter of seconds. How many games have kickoff returns been a significant factor in the win? Probably thousands. There’s offense, defense, and special teams! It’s the wrinkle you cannot forget or it will come back, it’s strategy! HELL TO THE NAW

    Greg Poole Not only NO, but HELL NO…  That is ridiculous and will forever change the game as we know it.  Player safety is paramount in our game these days and we as a society are working hard to ensure we are playing the game as safe as possible. But we are still playing the game of Football (American Football).  If you remove kickoff, then you have changed the game and I an not in favor of that at all.  The kicking game is directly responsible for 6-8 points per game.  So your down by 9 score a TD and line up for the onside kick… opps we changed the game, you don’t kick off no more, so there is no onside kick possibility.  It’s ridiculous!
