TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECTS
If position ranking is noted, unless otherwise stated, it is 247 Sports latest composite ranking of the player.
Frank Ladson
CLASS: 2019
POSITION: WR
HT, WT: 6-4, 170
SCHOOL: South Dade High School
CITY, STATE: Miami, Florida
STATUS: Undeclared
#OF OFFERS: 27
UGA OFFER: Yes, February 20, 2017
NEWS:
Ladson is a big bodied receiver that catches anything that comes his way. He’s a mismatch for most any corner out there. Ladson has great vision of the field and utilizes that when he runs routes. They’re crisp and clean but can make a defender easily miss. He’s a very athletic wideout that will make the play at any cost. His film didn’t show much blocking, so if he could improve on anything is his blocks.
Being from south Florida, the battle starts with Miami. However, Clemson appears to be the next team after. Don’t count out Georgia just yet, with four graduating seniors this year, it would a perfect opportunity to join the Bulldogs. Georgia needs another big-time receiver to compliment Matt Landers and Tommy Bush and this could be the guy.

Jashawn Sheffield
CLASS: 2019
POSITION: WR
HT, WT: 6-1, 178
SCHOOL: Frederica Academy
CITY, STATE: Saint Simons Island, Georgia
STATUS: Undeclared
# OF OFFERS: 24
UGA OFFER: Yes, November 21, 2015
NEWS:
Sheffield catches the ball well and has the athleticism and length to go with it. There isn’t much this talented player cannot do. He runs a 4.5 in the 40-yard dash and his film shows it. Sheffield can tip toe a ball in like no other. It takes more than one person to tackle him, and he isn’t afraid to lay out a block. He’s one special player and one of the most athletic in the class of 2019.
Georgia was in the mix at one point in time during this kids recruitment. But with the No. 1 and No. 2 wideouts in the class already, Sheffields seems to have backed off. Florida State seems to be the team to beat with Clemson, Auburn, Ohio State, Alabama, and Georgia in the mix. However, the wideout did make the trip to South Carolina for an unoffical visit on January 20th. This will more than likely be a National Signing Day decision and who ever gets this talented player will be one happy team.

Kenyon Jackson
CLASS: 2019
POSITION: WR
HT, WT: 6-5, 200
SCHOOL: Grayson High School
CITY, STATE: Loganville, Georgia
STATUS: Undeclared
#OF OFFERS: 21
UGA OFFER: Yes, May 9, 2017
NEWS:
Another tall, big wide out, Jackson has the look of a divison one wide receiver. He’s got greath length and long arms that make catching the ball easier. Jackson’s fast and runs nice routes. He could improve on them some to make them a little more crisp. His blocking skills are on point, its evident to me that Grayson High School teaches its wideouts how to block. He forces guys to miss, and it takes more than one person to get him down.
With 21 offers, Jackson isn’t someone to miss out on. With the right development, he will make a statement at the next level. Florida State and LSU seem to be the two top teams right now, but with him being an in-state kid, Georgia should be right there in terms of pursuading him to come to Athens.
