SCHOOL: Christian Brothers High School
CITY, STATE: Memphis, Tennessee
STATUS: HARD COMMIT: UGA 3/18/18
# OF OFFERS:
UGA OFFER: Yes, May 25, 2017
NEWS:
Bill Norton is a 6-6 270-pound four-star strong defensive end from Memphis, Tennessee. He ranks as the No. 11 strong defensive end and the No. 3 prospect in the state of Tennessee. As I watch his film, the first thing I note is he doesn’t stop. He will hold onto a player until that player goes down. Norton’s aggressive and uses his size to his advantage. He’s patient and likes to force turnovers. The defensive end sees the field well. He hits hard and anticipates well. Norton plays to his position well and is pretty quick to be 6-6. He’s persistent and will penetrate the offensive line until he overpowers them. Norton could work on his takeoff and footwork, but with the right development, he could turn into a star.
Norton currently holds 15 offers with the latest coming from Louisville on February 21. In the last few weeks, he visited Georgia on March 3, Mississippi State on March 10, and Tennessee on March 17. The visit to Georgia marked his fifth in the past year. It didn’t take Norton long to make his decision between the Bulldogs and the Volunteers. Norton committed to Georgia via Twitter around 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening.

NEWS:
Byron Young is a 6-4 270-pound four-star defensive end from Laurel, Mississippi. He ranks as the No.14 defensive end and the No. 10 prospect out of Mississippi. Young recorded 50 tackles, 14 sacks, and four forced fumbles last season. He’s patient at his position, and knows how to anticipate a play. Young sees the field well, and has good technique when it comes to making the offensive line miss him. He’s a head hunter, and isn’t afraid to strip the ball. His natural instict stands out to me and with a little more development, he could be a monster at the next level.
Young currenlty holds 11 offers with the latest coming from Arkansas on February 27. He recently visited Georgia on March 3rd. However Young announced that Alabama is his leader right now. 247Sports acknowledged this, but according to their system its a 50/50 race between Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Georgia needs another stout defensive lineman, and Young with the right development could be outstanding.
