TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECTS

If position ranking is noted, unless otherwise stated, it is 247 Sports latest composite ranking of the player.

Owen Pappoe

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: OLB

HT, WT: 6-0, 211

SCHOOL: Grayson High School

CITY, STATE: Loganville, Georgia

STATUS: Undeclared

# OF OFFERS: 41

UGA OFFER: Yes, June 5, 2015

NEWS:

Pappoe is a top target for any school that’s seeking him out. He’s an elite athlete and is one of the best players in the entire 2019 class. He can track plays sideline to sideline and also cover backs and tight ends. Pappoe runs a 4.4 40-yard dash which is pretty dang impressive for a linebacker. He may not be the biggest linebacker in the 2019 class, but he will outwork the bigger guys. Pappoe can fight off blocks from larger players to make plays in the run game. He’s a well-rounded linebacker and football smart.

Georgia has Pappoe high on its target list. The battle appears to be between the Bulldogs and Clemson. The Bulldogs must keep Pappoe in state and I think Kirby Smart will pull out all the stops to get him. It will be a tough battle between Clemson, but Georgia wants to add this linebacker to an already talented group it has.

Trezman Marshall

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: ATH/LB

HT, WT: 6-1, 236

SCHOOL: Clinch County High School

CITY, STATE: Homerville, Georgia

STATUS: Undeclared

# OF OFFERS: 12

UGA OFFER: Yes, July 11, 2016

NEWS:

Marshall is another must get for Georgia. He’s a hard hitter and can play either side of the ball. Marshall’s fast and has great field vision. He’s not afraid to take on bigger defenders and he will knock your head off.  His film shows him on both sides of the ball, and this could really benefit him at the next level because he will have the understanding of both sides of the ball. This will help him defend other offenses and even be used as a fullback sometimes.

Georgia seems to hold the lead with this athlete, and it could only be a matter of time before he makes his decision. However, I fully expect Clemson and Alabama to make a move on him. He’s got a lot of raw talent and could make an impact with the right guidance at the next level.

Jaleel McRae

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: OLB

HT, WT: 6-1, 230

SCHOOL: IMG Academy

CITY, STATE: Bradenton, Florida

STATUS: Undeclared

# OF OFFERS: 12

UGA OFFER: Yes, February 11, 2018

NEWS:

McRae sees the field well and is a playmaker. He can cover sideline to sideline relatively well. McRae’s quick on the edge and can push around bigger players. He anticipates for the play to happen and plays his position well. This Florida native can rush, cover receivers and does a good job at both. He’s a head knocker and hits hard. McRae is patient and will wait for the play to come to him if he’s being contained by a blocker. He’s extremely talented and a solid linebacker that could make some headlines at the next level.

Florida seems to be the leader for McRae right now, but Georgia may have a shot. The Bulldogs offered him late, but must have saw something they liked. He only has 12 offers right now, but with what I saw from him in his junior year, he should double that during his senior season. McRae will make a nice addition to any team in college.
