Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

Hmmm…so Chaney’s offense put up 415 yards against UNC last year in a losing effort. With UNC only returning seven starters on defense this year, and the benefit of better talent at UGA, one would think Chaney can do better than 415 yards of total offense.

Bulldawg36 That’s the name you’ll be calling her when she scribbles on a newly painted wall with crayons…but what’s the every day short version going to be?

If you set your goals low and you meet those goals, you’ve gone nowhere’s .     I truly believe UGA will win the SECe and SEC this coming season.    If we set these goals and meet them, we’ll be in seventh heaven, but I surely don’t expect a goal of 8-4 as a real goal.     Think positive and don’t short change CKS, coaches and our Great 2016 Football Players, they will rise to the occasion.       CKS and Staff will get them ready, the players will give 100plus % and we fans, will roar on every play.      GO DAWGS and we’ll be with you on every play.

I think we will beat em…they are not that stout Boise st team we opened up with in the dome in 2011

Bulldawg36 I go back and forth with worry and confidence, but in reality, we should beat them down.

It’s getting surreal my friend. That stomach is getting nice and plump. The babies name will be Antanassia Maria Kennedy

Greg Poole They rank 90th nationally in total defense, that’s 5 spots ahead of the 95th ranked UNC tarheels!

Smart takes over a team with a solid defense but numerous offensive questions, including who the starting quarterback will be. But thanks to six straight top-10 recruiting classes, Smart has some gifted guys to work with. The secondary is absolutely loaded, and freshman http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/_/id/189857/jacob-eason could be a star at quarterback. Running back http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/3128720/nick-chubb, when healthy, is one of the best players in the country. There will be growing pains. This is Smart’s first job as a head coach, and he’s replacing one of the best. If Smart can recruit and build like mentor Nick Saban did at Alabama, Georgia could end its title drought sooner rather than later.
