Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

MMCSDAWG BenKellam JaxDawg Now granted, his completion percentage was pretty good for the rest of the season. But I don’t think hes gonna be ready for our DBs, especially once Carter, Bellamy, and big Trent get to him a few times.

  2. AlphaDawg

MMCSDAWG AlphaDawg Greg Poole Ours and others. All those Mark Richt haters in the national media will suddenly tell us all about the hire of a lifetime Miami made and how we pulled a Phillip Fulmer

  3. MMCSDAWG

JaxDawg Pretty sure those stats didn’t come against Clemson or any other high ranked team.  We will be READY!  Might not win, but we will be ready!

  4. BenKellam

JaxDawg Yea but what kinda competition did those stats come from? Was it late garbage time against a crappy team?

  5. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG Greg Poole As ridiculous as that sounds, unfortunately there is a segment of our fanbase that will react that way for sure!  Ridiculousness!

  6. AlphaDawg

MMCSDAWG BenKellam Greg Poole BTW, Chaney said he wanted to come to UGA bc Kirby would protect him from the media. Pruitt never seemed like he enjoyed it much; he’s not charismatic. He only seemed to interview after a loss because he wanted to jab at the offense callers who did a crappy job.

  7. AlphaDawg

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Like we should. Better believe that if they beat UF this season their fan base will rush their field.

  8. AlphaDawg

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Don’t worry, UGA and Kirby’s career will be kicked under the rug if we lose this one. He’ll be written off as bad hire. He’ll only have that hanging over his head. LOL

  9. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole BahitsDawg Surprised it’s not already being done like plasma cutters on steel

Greg Poole I believe Kirby and Co. will have our Dawgs prepared and Hungry to go against UNC week 1 in the Dome.  This is the biggest game of the season (not most important).   Kirby knows it and so does the entire staff and players.  You only get one chance to make a first impression and I don’t believe Kirby will let this opportunity pass without giving us something to remember!    Chaney face UNC Fedora/Chizek last year, so he is familiar with them.  That’s a valuable asset.  I know the nerves will be high, but I expect the Dawgs to come out and beat UNC both offensively and Defensively at the LOS.  Go Dawgs!  I can’t WAIT!

MMCSDAWG I noticed that about AK not being listed but UT fans swear they have the best running back tandem in the country, lol.

  12. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole UTk’s Kamara not mentioned any where….  LOL!  I like the list.  Although Sony may have a better overall season than Hurd and replace him at #2!!!

After winning double-digit games (11) for the first time since 1997 and winning the ACC’s Coastal Division, the Tar Heels return in 2016 with a handful of talent and a few important faces to replace. The biggest star that needs replacing is record-breaking quarterback http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/516347/marquise-williams. The good news is that the Heels already have his successor ready. That would be junior http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/545238/mitch-trubisky, who had a very impressive 2015 season as Williams’ backup. He completed 40 of 47 attempts (85.1 percent) for 555 yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions last season. He also ran for 101 yards and three scores. That means that an offense with four returning starters up front and three at receiver shouldn’t miss a beat. Oh, and those three receivers were the Heels’ top three wideouts, combining for 140 receptions for 2,080 yards and 18 touchdowns last season. Don’t forget that Hood is one of just five returning Power 5 running backs with at least 1,000 yards, 10 touchdowns and an average of 6.0 yards per carry.

AlphaDawg It has to only be a matter of time when that have permanent Henas and also computer controlled tattoos.

Greg Poole Delta flys both ways, where are the west coast teams beating down the door to head south?  West coast games happen but no teams in any conference can play every other conference each year.  I agree that it is an outdated and tired cliche.

BenKellam I think IM16 came out and said he was fooling around and it got out that he was transferring, he thought it was funny that folks believed him.

  17. BenKellam

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG Wasn’t there rumors about him transferring at some point a few months ago that ended up not being true? Maybe this writer just sucks at his job.

  18. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole There is no way in Hades kirby would let him transfer to Miami even if he wanted to.

Just talked to @Bulldawg Bob2 – His wife is doing well – “treatment working, no new cancer cells and kidney is holding up.”
