Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

    On Clay:
According to the incident report, a university student placed a pair of headphones down next to his phone and water bottle on the bleachers closest to the front of the court. Upon returning, the victim noticed his headphones were missing and reported them stolen.
An officer was able to identify Clay as the responsible party and got a judge to take a warrant out for his arrest for misdemeanor theft by taking. The officer contacted Clay over the phone and informed him of the warrant on Wednesday and gave him the number to the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division so he could settle it.

Greg Poole Looking back at this class, it really is an amazing group.  We only got to #7 on 247, but that was when we had 21 (how many have we added after that?  Herrien, Catalina, some pwos?) while the others ahead of us had to have 26, 29, 25, 25, 25(fsfreeshoes – now down to 23),  and Bama at 24.

I really like the quality we have and they are going to shine.

Greg Poole We need a new ranking of the last class when the season starts.

How many teams that had a higher rank ahead of us, end up losing several players and would have been below us?

I guess the real final ranking will be how the class performs over the next few years.  GO DAWGS!!!!

Bulldawg36 Macon isn’t so bad.  Just make sure you have a full tank and a healthy car.  Don’t wonder into areas on foot that look sketchy.

    You can also CC.

  8. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole All those great names!  I loved watching Edwards, Hines and the crew.  Edwards was such a great slashing back.

  9. Bulldawg36

Thanks for the info. I visited warm springs yesterday. It’s pretty nice. I ate at that restaurant with the southern food buffett. The bullouch I think?

  10. Doc R

Bulldawg36 don’t go around Macon mall as they were ruling over it way back when I lived there—haven’t been in 20 years but that was a bad area that should not have been

  11. Bulldawg36

That’s true they’re gangs every where. But in some parts of Macon they said the gangs were real bad. I’ve never been there so I’m not sure it’s true

  12. MMCSDAWG

BenKellam MMCSDAWG  Right!   Todd gave the right answer though… lol!  He know’s who is signing the check!

  13. BenKellam

MMCSDAWG I’m surprised the haven’t shot brees in the streets of New Orleans yet for saying that Campbells gumbo is worth eating.

  14. Greg Poole

BenKellam – To kick a kid off of a team and then restrict his options would be the height of paternalism (to use a kind term). The idea of restricting transfers is rooted in combating tampering.

I imagine that the author didn’t think that through.

  15. Bulldawg36

People on the Georgia city data forum have said that their are a bunch of gangs in Macon

  16. rugbydawg79

1mandawgpack You might be thinking about Roundtree whose Father is a Sheriff in Augusta – but I am with you.

  17. Bulldawg36

I don’t think I will ever visit Macon from the scary things I’ve heard. But I will pray for ya dawg daddy!!!!
