OK. What the heck?! World tennis is pre-empting the high school football game in my area on ESPN2

  2. RobDawg

Telling you it’s going to come down to rock, paper, scissors while the trumpeter hits the first of the seven notes

  3. Bulldawg Bob2

    DawgLink  LOL.
I normally don’t listen to the Finebaum show, but for the last 30 minutes and his 7 to 10 minutes with Coach Smart were not half bad.
But HS football is about to take his spot.

Bulldawg Bob2 DawgByte Greg Poole It’s a remarkable story… one I hope the national media picks up on, because this young man deserves the recognition, whether he wants it or not.

  5. Bulldawg Bob2

DawgByte Greg Poole  I’m anxious to see him tote the rock. I am frankly and truly amazed at his recovery. While he certainly is gifted genetically and athletically, to recover from the injury he suffered and be ready to play SEC football on Sept. 3rd just points to his work ethic and determination.

  6. DawgByte

Greg Poole DawgByte Love his size. We need to move people off the ball and he’s super strong… a grown man.

  7. DawgByte

Greg Poole The Chubbanator! Can’t believe we’re going to get to see him play next week. Didn’t think he’d make it back until mid-to-late October.

  8. DawgByte

Greg Poole DawgByte If Eason does start that’s quite an accomplishment for a true freshman. He will have proven that he’s the best option – remarkable.

  9. Bulldawg Bob2

DawgByte  Beat me to it Greg.
Plus, Eason and Lambert are rotating between the 1s and 2s from what I’ve seen reported. Is that correct Greg Poole and Michael Pope

  10. Greg Poole

DawgByte  I have always contended that he will start but the reps in practice that writers keep referring to are not a tell.

  11. DawgByte

Is it me or does it look like Eason is going to start? He’s now gone a week and a half leading off the order with first team. I know Kirby says they haven’t made up their mind on a QB… I’m calling ‘Bull’ and agree with Chip Towers – they know who their starting QB is!

No decision on starter at QB.
    Nick Chubb good to go.
Sony Michel is good to go once he is cleared,  but no time table on when that will be.

  13. DawgByte

Avon Barksdale From what I’ve heard this doesn’t surprise me. The kid has a SEC ready physique. He’s going to be a good one, along with M. Carter.

  14. Greg Poole

Today we got to watch some real practice and guess which unit I watched? # guesses.
Cleveland was shipped to another group as a scout. He will RS barring injuries that force him to play.
Michael’s fist unit line listed above is accurate. Couldn’t tell how they will sub-in. Probably will be situational.

How about some big hog mollies?
Greg Pyke (73) going up against freshman Daniel Gothard (71)

Hobnailboot aka RobG nolabigdawg There were a few dedicated readers but that type of post has lost its luster over the years. Just not enough traffic to justify the work.

  17. Bulldawg Bob2

Elijah Holyfield (13) definitely back. Going thru pass catching drills along with fellow freshman RB Brian Herrien (35)

  18. AlphaDawg

I would but I’ve rented a jeep. I have a buddy who has lived on the island for about 5 years. I’ll ask him what areas to avoid.

  19. Bulldawg Bob2

Michael Pope  Can you confirm that RB Sony Michel was still in a black no-contact jersey?

Good afternoon everyone, After today we will be a week away from the opener and things are truly beginning to shape up. For starters, i believe the starting offensive line is really taking the mold of Tyler Catalina at Left Tackle, Isaiah Wynn at Left Guard, Brandon Kublanow at Center, Lamont Gaillard at Right Guard, and Greg Pyke at Right Tackle. The media period was very short today but Eason seemed to be taking a lot of snaps today but all three quarterbacks still seem to be in the mix. The scout team was replicating the UNC team as we saw Quarterbacks on the scout team were wearing #10 to match Mitch Trubisky. It also seemed that David Marshall may have been getting a few first team d-line reps today as he was taking reps with John Atkins and Trenton Thompson during the media period.
