Big night in T-town tonight.  This is the 47th (or 49th) meeting between Thomasville and Thomas County Central and should be the first time that TCC has ever had the lead in the head-to-head series.  T’ville dominated the series in the 60s , 70s and early 80s, while TCC has pretty much owned them since the late 80s (mine was the first Senior class in school history that never lost the varsity game all 4 years I was in school at TCC).  It’s actually a little sad for me to see the once proud Thomasville program completely in shambles at the moment.

75tranzam DawgByte Hobnailboot aka RobG maybe not, but you certainly make your defense better with a baller like him on it

DawgLink  That’s my fault DL. I didn’t pay attention to the date. Grayson plays IMG and the Colquitt game are on tomorrow night on Saturday.

I think he’s a starter from day one at USCjr, not necessarily at UGA so he’s going the easy route. You can’t coach height, to many 6’2″+ receivers in the SEC to rely on 5’9″ DB.

Nothing personal against the young man, you just can’t build a defensive backfield around kids of this height anymore in the SEC.

I think Sony will play next week.. I wouldn’t send him in the line too much right now but I’m sure he’ll find a role in the game plan

Wish I could get paid to simply guess the outcomes of football games and get to talk about it

Not shocked about a Cleveland potential RS. Just takes time. I’m positive Pittman will mold that kid into a MONSTER in due time!

I think it’s clear that Eason will at least play a significant amount. Whether or not he starts may not be the most relevant question (blasphemy, I know). I really feel like Kirby’s priorities are A. Play great defense B. Win in the trenches. C. Run the ball and then D. Hopefully give Eason some quality reps. Might be more beneficial to give him some pre-determined series rather than just throwing him in the ocean? Just throwing that out there, of course I’d be stoked if he starts!

Kirk Herbstreet saying Vols beat Bama in regular season match-up and then face them in the SEC CG and lose to them on the 2nd meeting on his preseason special on ESPNU

Hobnailboot aka RobG I think that ship is sailing to South Stankalacky and I’m bummed about it. Think too much emphasis was paid to his height and not the player.

Hobnailboot aka RobG  Unless he has announced a change, yes.
And D’Andre Swift is expected to announce on Sept.1st still.

RobDawg  Hmmmmmm …. that explains things.
Who said it was important to pay attention to the date on the schedule? ######
