PTCDawg I expect to see a lot of Jackson Harris because of his ability to block in the run game. Also catches the ball real well.

  2. Avon Barksdale

Unfortunately, it sounds like Keith Marshall is injured. That guy just can’t catch a break!!! Arm or hand injury

  3. PTCDawg

My prediction for O starting lineup: Lambert, Chubb, Godwin, Davis…Blaze, Catalina, Wynn, Kubs, Gaillard, Pyke, Nauta

My prediction for D starting lineup: Atkins, Thompson, Hawkins…Bellamy, Patrick, Carter, Carter…Parrish, Smith, Sanders, McGraw

My prediction for final score: Georgia 31, UNC 20

Greg Poole 1mandawgpack Greg, I’m called by my middle name, Craig, and growing up I had to convince people that my formal name (i..e., first, middle and last names) wasn’t “That Damn Craig”

  5. Greg Poole

1mandawgpack There are two words that I heard my Mother say and I allow those. Her usage usually went something like this: “Damn Greg, what the hell were you thinking?”

RobDawg I think Murray got the better end of that deal, although they’re both darn (had to watch myself as the bossman is on tonight and I don’t want to get banned) good dawgs.

1mandawgpack 10-4 and I agree. Some of these guys have less than 10% body fat on them, and don’t look like a prototypical linebacker. Incredible how well put together they are. All muscle.

Bulldawg Bob2 1mandawgpack BB2, I was certainly not doubting his abilities at all – again if the staff thinks he can play, they certainly know better than me.  However, he just looks pretty thin in that photo and carries his weight well as he doesn’t look anywhere close to 230.

  9. Avon Barksdale

    Love to hear it!
If LoCarter can step up and have a Quentin Moses-esque junior year, this defense will be very VERY tough!

  10. Greg Poole

I’m loading my Lorenzo Carter interview to YouTube right now. This kid has changed more since we last talked to him (last season) than any kid I’ve seen in a long time. He has grown up. No more baby face – lean angular and serious.

1mandawgpack  Monty Rice 6-1 and about 230 lbs which is bigger than Roquan Smith at ILB. Smith is about 225 lbs. Roundtree moved to ILB and might be 220 lbs but probably closer to 210 to 215.
Natrez Patrick is 6-3 and lost weight to get down to 228 lbs.
    I recommend watching Rice play.

In the photo at the top of the page, Monty Rice certainly doesn’t look like a downhill, thumping ILB.  That said, if Kirby and Shuman think he’s a guy that can help our team, I’m all in and trust their evaluations completely.

Bulldawg Bob2 Thanks Bob, those will be like watching a college game with so much talent on each team.

Bulldawg Bob2 I will never understand someone willingly going to Columbia or Knoxville.  I could not live in either.
