Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

PTCDawg I hear our ex-resident expert @trentsmallwood  thinks he’s not coming to UGA…

  2. Greg Poole

MMCSDAWG I’m not opposed to it – just haven’t seen those opulent locker rooms elsewhere – including Jax.
    Go for it, Kirby.

  3. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg Told you’ll Kirby wanted a new in stadium locker room!  He was shocked when he saw the locker rooms in Sanford.  I know B-M is pretty nice, but we are miles behind our competition as far as stadium locker rooms are concerned.  He is not going to let UGA settle for getting by with less than Great facilities, and I applaud him for that…  He’s putting in a herculean effort to give us what we have longed for and missed out on for way too dang long now.  GATA Kirby, Why not Us!  There is really no excuse for UGA not to have elite facilities for ALL sports.  The days of money laundering and hording need to end.  Time to make the investments necessary to achieve our ultimate goals in all Sports…   Results, not excuses!

AlphaDawg bahits The Stunk against decent competition!  lol.  They finished #122 in rushing defense against a schedule that had 1 top 20 rushing team in it…

  5. AlphaDawg

bahits It’s not a cake walk by any means, but they’ve got a new QB just like us. Chizik is building a good defense there too. Only difference is they didn’t perform well against anyone last season that was worth a flip.

  6. Greg Poole

AlphaDawg  Back in the day the visitors lockerroom was in a building on that end

  7. AlphaDawg

PTCDawg Haven’t heard much but typically there’s a relation. They’ve all been tipped off or one makes a prediction and all the sheeps follow.

  8. AlphaDawg

bahits MMCSDAWG AlphaDawg TeeHDawg From the stories I heard about Pruitt, they possibly were.

  9. AlphaDawg

MMCSDAWG DawgLink Difference is UT worships BOOTCH so they won’t do anything.

  10. bahits

AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG yep, no kidding.  He has learned how to burn SEC defenses and would be a handful and a good recruiter.

Maybe, Kentucky or Vanderbilt for him?  He would be dangerous, but not too dangerous.

  11. bahits

MMCSDAWG bahits DawgLink lol, I have 3 different logons that livefyre picked up on different computers.   It is annoying.  I am going to try to consolidate them when I have time.  Since we don’t track points, it hasn’t been a huge priority.

  12. MMCSDAWG

bahits AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG TeeHDawg Right!   There was definitely some behind the scenes issues going on last year with our offensive staff.  Not sure exactly what they were, but it’s behind us now!

  13. MMCSDAWG

bahits MMCSDAWG DawgLink New logo and no caps in the name…  what happened BA?

  14. bahits

MMCSDAWG DawgLink Hopefully, Kirby won’t either, but he will scare and educate the kids into doing the right things and not the wrong ones.

  15. MMCSDAWG

DawgLink Listening to local sports talk radio on the way to and from lunch.  They specifically called out CMR as one of the few that would never put wins/losses above doing the right thing with respect to player conduct and doing the right thing.

  16. bahits

DawgLink Cover up results are almost always worse than the actual deed and takes down those innocent in the actual deed.  i.e. Nixon trying to protect the party, the office of president and the nation from the ridiculous Watergate breakin,   Paterno and the child molester,  Bill Clinton and well Bill Clinton…. etc. etc.

  17. RumRunnerDoogie

MMCSDAWG RumRunnerDoogie DawgLink well thats pretty inhuman to cover something like that up just for a pay check

  18. PTCDawg

Lots of recent CB love for Tony Gray, which would be a terrific name to add to Demery, Netori, Thomas, Salyer and Wray. Are there any rumors behind the CB action??

  19. PTCDawg

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG  growing up in Austin, Nobis was one of the very first college football players I was aware of. though right after his time, the 1969 Texas-Arkansas game remains a highlight of my early college football years.

  20. MMCSDAWG

DawgLink There is definitely evidence linking Bootch to some shady stuff up in UTk, but who knows.  Not enough heat being put on them yet.  Let’s see what happens once the trial starts…

  21. MMCSDAWG

RumRunnerDoogie MMCSDAWG DawgLink Briles took a transfer from Boise St, that was kicked out of BS, he subsequently raped a female socceer player and they covered it up.  Done

  22. DawgLink

Briles covered up sordid sexual assaults. Word got out and the heat turned up.m aylor had no choice but the axe. Is Tennessee going to get more heat now for their sexual assaults?

  23. RumRunnerDoogie

MMCSDAWG DawgLink i havent really followed  the story, whats this all about in a nutshell

  24. MMCSDAWG

DawgLink Had to make sure there wasn’t a viable way to squirm out of it without having to fire Briles, but the storm built too fast and there was no way out!

  25. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole Walker looked good during the spring game…  He might be a major player by UTk time!

  26. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG Does he sit out a year and look to take Gus’s job at Auburn after this season…  I hope he goes out west actually!  Don’t want him at Auburn

  27. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG  He started his college career with Leach so he might be heading to the great NW???   Not sure, but he won’t be unemployed long.
