Luke and North Murray are 2-3 on the season after losing a tough game on the road to Calhoun, 40-13, and will get a chance to go to .500 on the season when they take on Murray Co. in Chatsworth, GA this Friday on Sept. 29th.

NEWS & NOTES: McClendon has over 18 offers and one of those is from the Bulldogs, who offered back last November. There is a long way till NSD 2019, but it will be a battle to keep the talented offensive lineman from Brunswick in the Peach State; however, don’t count out Coach Pittman and the Dogs here. After dropping their first game of the year, McClendon and Brunswick HS have reeled off 3 straight wins. They are off this weekend and then host Bradwell Institute on October 6th.

NEWS & NOTES: Buford High School turns out a number of talented college football prospects each year and 2019 offensive lineman Harry Miller is no exception. The Bulldogs offered the OT back in June. Over the summer Miller visited both Alabama and Clemson. Buford was off this past weekend but lost for the first time at home since 2012 back on Sept. 15th to a very good and nationally ranked high school football out of Rock Hill, South Carolina, South Pointe. The Wolves host Clarke Central this Friday.

NEWS & NOTES: The Georgia coaching staff offered Morris back in March, and the talented Grayson offensive tackle ended up annoucing his decision to commit to FSU in April. As I have said with other 2019 prospects, especially those that are committed elsewhere, National Signing Day 2019 is a long ways off. And Morris did visit UGA over the weekend for the Mississippi State game. Speaking of Grayson High School, the No. 1 team in Class 7A in the state of Georgia and the No. 10 team in the country hammered the International School of Broward from Hollywood, FL 74-0 last weekend to move to 4-0 on the year. The Rams will play their fourth out-of-state team on Friday when they host Ramsay out of Birmingham, AL.
