    I would assume Lacounte is probably going to start out at Safety, correct? He looks way too small to be an ILB. And I know KS likes those big ol’ 240-250 lb backers.

    AlphaDawg You thought wrong…  Never have liked his style very much.  He has written a few decent articles, but overall I really don’t care for his work.

    SIAP. Tenn offered a 3* DT QB from Georgia yesterday. He’s the No. 562 overall prospect and No. 22 dual-threat quarterback in the 247Sports Composite for the 2018. May mean they know Emory Jones is going to OSU.

    DawgDaddy He should be very close by UNC. Conditioning will not be an issue – his arm will not prevent running. We’ll see how much the participates in drills next week.

    Greg Poole I still don’t understand reporters saying that Sony is no where near being game ready.  I think his conditioning is still there and with a cast he will play against UNC.  At least a good percentage of plays.

    The AJC’s SEC Country seems to have eliminated poor Greyson Lambert from the quarterback competition:
    QB Jacob Eason, Georgia
    It’s unclear whether Eason will be able to wrest the starting job from the more experienced Brice Ramsey. Regardless, Eason will almost undoubtedly take over this season. After throwing for more than 10,000 yards and 99 touchdowns in high school and earning Gatorade National Football Player of the Year, Eason enrolled early at Georgia. During the spring game, he led the way with 244 yards and a touchdown on 29 passing attempts. Heads will turn as soon as Eason gets on the field for good.
