Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

Greg Poole bet that motorcycle wasn’t the only thing that left skid marks

When the TV sports rights bubble bursts (and it will), I predict the SEC and SEC Network will be in the best position, by far, of any conference. SEC will spend to see conference games at a much higher rate per school than any other conference.
When the bubble bursts there will be another round of realignment. Mizzou and Vandy will have trouble justifing their continued membership, IMHO.

Indeed. People take for granted that our Freedoms were free. Thanks for your service

ZippyMorocco dawgmum PTCDawg Neither of those two choices strikes me as being exciting. Only a commitment will do. ##

I think it was Hugh freeze that said that about Kirby in the Lindys. Because he said he didn’t think UGA would be that good with a first year coach and freshman qb-but they could catch lighting in the bottle because of the weak east.

dawgmum PTCDawg probably which All_star game he plans to participate in or something along those lines

Hobnailboot aka RobG College students might be slightly less prone to substances than the general population, but I’m not sure about that.

Greg Poole I wonder how different that is from 18-22 YO that are not in college…..my guess is not very, I was one of those who drank and did drugs during that period of my life

Dawgs been getting some CB love lately. Last 5 days we have gotten 5 for JaCoby, 4 for Tony Gray and 1 today for Andrew Thomas. Probably from the dawgnation article. Those are 3 pretty darn good players to be trending our direction.

In other news, Ol Missy is getting pretty close to tying with Tenn as my least favorite team. Not quite there yet but closing fast.

Greg Poole I agree wholeheartedly but one observation of the home schooled kids I know it that they all seem to manage there time better than average, that in and of itself is a great education that many miss.

Considering the fact that football supports most of the other athletics, you keep the cash coffers happy. No brainer

A mid tier SEC team can not just start signing top 5 classes. Sure they didn’t do anything wrong!#

  13. Greg Poole

Hobnailboot aka RobG That depends on who is at home doing the schooling and the effort they put into it.

ZippyMorocco one of my good friends lost a brother there.  We cannot thank their families enough, nor the ones who made it back.

Everyone should take a little time today to remember our fallen heroes.

DawgDaddy Greg Poole it’s certainly better than a lot of public schools, wish I had been home schooled

Greg Poole DawgDaddy This makes no sense to me, home schooling is actually great for most kids, a 23 on the ACT is grounds for admission to me.
