Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

Hobnailboot aka RobG He likes their small class size… Wake is selling it and that is probably a good idea for them. 12/1 student/teacher ratio

  2. Colonial Dawg

RobDawg I was just thinking the same thing as I was reading the comments.  Wow, people actually giving well thought out comments.

Well the Clempson fans are realistic and grounded unlike some SEC fans wearing orange. VolNuts responses would not have been so rational

If/when Eason starts at QB for the Dawgs he will certainly have a few growing pains getting used to SEC competition but I can’t help but think about what Josh Rosen did last year as a true Freshman. He played like a veteran QB. I’m sure there were a few mistakes and a few misread coverages but for the most part he played as good as you’d expect from an upperclassman, Who’s to say Eason can’t or won’t be able to perform at a high level as a Fr. I’m not predicting Eason to put up similar numbers as Rosen but I certainly think he could hold his own especially if Pittman is able to get the most out of the OL. GO DAWGS!!!!

Greg Poole I hope we fly under the radar to 5-0 to start the season, the more the team is doubted the bigger the chip becomes and a big chip is needed this year to have a great season

Greg Poole No problem with his thoughts but I don’t think that if we are 10-3 we will be #26, more like mid-teens most likely.

Fans may enter the stadium beginning at 1:30 p.m. and occupy the lower bowl.  At the conclusion of the open practice, which is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m. and last approximately two hours, fans wishing to participate in Fan Day will enter the field through the West End Zone field gates. Fans can start lining up at 4 p.m.
The athletic association says that, in an effort to facilitate as many autographs in the time allowed, fans are limited to two items per person and, as in recent years at the old Picture Day, fans will only be allowed to have the 2016 Football Schedule poster signed. The posters will be available as fans enter the field for the autograph session.  No other items will be permitted for autographs and no posed photographs with players or Smart will be allowed.

Georgia-Florida is a hot ticket once again:

The Oct. 29 matchup between the Bulldogs and the Gators was listed as the No. 5 most-expensive ticket on the online market, with the average ticket price coming in at $294.  Georgia vs. Auburn was No. 9, at $252,  Georgia vs. Tennessee was No. 10, at $245, and the season opener against North Carolina at the Georgia Dome was No. 18, at $207.
