The starting pitcher for the Bulldogs on Sunday was Brittany Gray who went 3-0 on the weekend. She pitched all seven innings and only allowed three hits. She struck out three batters, which brings her tally to 14 strikeouts on the season. Georgia’s freshmen led the team in hits on Sunday with Justice Milz and Ciara Bryan having two each. The Bulldogs had a total of seven hits on the day.

Georgia’s offense got off to a rocky start, staying scoreless for the first four innings. However, in the fifth inning, the bats started lighting up. Both teams got their offense going, and during the top of the inning, the Pirates worked their way to a 1-0 lead. East Carolina scored after a walk to Ali Ramirez allowed a base runner on before pinch runner Olivia Narron came home after she stole a base and an error from the Georgia defense and quick single from Megan Quick.
