UGA running back and special teamer Prather Hudson will graduate on Friday with a degree in Finance and has decided to put his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal. He will be eligible to play right away. The news was first reported by Dawgs247 Jake Rowe.
Hudson walked on to the UGA football in 2016 from Brookstone High School in Columbus, GA. He redshirted and was a valuable member of the Dawgs’ scout team. The following year in 2017, he established himself quickly as a tenacious player in practice and played in all 15 games for the Bulldogs on special teams and as a backup running back. In all, he has strapped on his helmet and pads for the “G” in 42 games over the past three seasons.
Another walk-on, junior wide receiver Josh Moran, will also be graduating Friday, December 13th, and has decided to also put his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal per UGASports‘ Radi Nabulsi.
Like Hudson, Moran walked on to Georgia in 2016 as a freshman out of Milton High School in Alpharetta, GA. He also redshirted and has continued to walk-on each year over the past three seasons from 2017-19. Moran will be eligible to play immediately and has one year of eligibility left in which to do so.
