ATHENS, Ga. — UGA WOMEN’S EQUESTRIAN: 2015-16 Schedule Released —Head Coach Meghan Boenig has announced the 2015-16 equestrian schedule. The schedule features six Southeastern Conference meets, six home meets and is highlighted by the SEC Championship, which will be hosted in Bishop, Ga., this season.
[su_spacer size=”20″] Georgia will give fans a sneak peak at the 2015-16 roster when it hosts the annual Red and Black Scrimmage on September 18 at 4 p.m., at the UGA Equestrian Complex in Bishop, Ga.
[su_spacer size=”40″] The regular-season kicks off the following weekend when the Bulldogs welcome Texas A&M to Bishop for a 10 a.m., meet.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Georgia takes to the road on Oct. 2-3 when it travels to Delaware State for a tri-meet with Delaware State and Fresno State.
[su_spacer size=”40″] The Bulldogs return home for a 2 p.m., contest on Oct. 16 against Oklahoma State.
[su_spacer size=”40″] SEC competition resumes on Nov. 13 when Georgia travels to Auburn, Ala., to take on the Auburn Tigers. The following weekend, Nov. 20, the Bulldogs will host the defending national champion South Carolina Gamecocks at 1 p.m., in Bishop.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Following the midseason break, Georgia opens the spring portion of its schedule on the road. The Bulldogs will take on TCU on Jan. 29, before heading to College Station, Texas to face Texas A&M on Jan. 30.
[su_spacer size=”40″] A showdown in Blythewood, S.C., between Georgia and South Carolina is set for Feb. 6.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Georgia returns home on Feb. 13 for the first of three-straight home meets. The home stretch begins with a 1 p.m., contest against Auburn on Feb. 13. Georgia will the host Kansas State and Fresno State in a tri-meet on Feb. 26-27.
