Georgia had less rebounds than expected and the Aggies had more. The Bulldogs, who averaged 40.8 rebounds per game, got only 31 and Texas A&M, who averaged 42.2 per game, had and impressive 47. Sixteen of those were offensive. The Aggies made 21 points off of second chance shots.

The Lady Dogs also got into foul trouble. Head coach Joni Taylor said this is the second game that Georgia’s free throw shot count has been in the single digits. The Aggies had the opportunity to shoot 25 free throws and Georgia only got nine.

Rebounds is the game, rebounds and three throws,” Georgia head coach Joni Taylor said. “They have got excellent rebounders and we knew that going in. We talked about that for two days. Texas A&M Id extremely difficult to box out.”

The Lady Dogs have a bye week but will resume play on Sunday in Athens, Ga against Alabama at 2 p.m.
