Opening Tip
» Georgia, which has won three-straight and four of its last five games, travels to Florida to take on the Gators at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday.
» Associate head coach Karen Lange will once again serve as acting head coach. There is no timetable for coach Joni Taylor’s return. Taylor gave birth to a baby girl — Drew Simone — on Feb. 19.
» Lange is 6-2 overall as acting head coach at Georgia. She went 4-2 in 2016 and is 2-0 this season.
» The Lady Bulldogs have won three-straight contests against the Gators, including this year’s 93-58 win against Florida in Athens. The 93 points were the most for Georgia against an SEC team since the 2013 NCAA Elite Eight squad scored 95 against Alabama.
» Senior forward Caliya Robinson earned the most recent SEC Player of the Week honor. Georgia’s lone senior has scored over 20 points in three-straight games and has recorded back-to-back double-doubles. Over the last three contests, Robinson is averaging a double-double of 24.7 ppg and 10.0 rpg.
» Redshirt-junior point guard Taja Cole has broken into the top-5 nationally in total assists with an SEC-best 179 dimes this season (34 more than the next closest SEC player). Cole has totaled five or more assists in 22 games and 10 or more helpers on five occasions this season.
» After missing the first eight games of the year due to a knee injury, 2018 SEC All-Freshman team member Que Morrison is starting to find her rhythm late in the season. She has played 30 minutes or more in each of the last four games, has started eight consecutive contests and most recently scored a season-high 16 points in the win against Arkansas last week.
