Opening Tip

» Following four-straight games against top-25 teams, the Georgia Lady Bulldogs return home to host Missouri at 7 p.m. ET Thursday inside Stegeman Coliseum.

» Georgia has won two of the last three meetings against Missouri and owns an 8-5 lead in the all-time series. The Tigers took last year’s contest in Columbia, 61-35.

» The Lady Bulldogs’ strength of schedule is ranked No. 12 nationally according to the latest NCAA RPI release. Seven of Georgia’s 10 losses this year have come against top-25 teams. The Lady Bulldogs are also one of four programs — joining Washington State, Indiana and UConn — to play both No 1 South Carolina and No. 1 Baylor.

» Junior guard Maya Caldwell has scored in double figures in back-to-back games. Caldwell tied her career-best against an SEC opponent with 15 points at Texas A&M and then followed with 12 against Mississippi State.

» Georgia’s Que Morrison totaled a team-high 18 points to go along with seven rebounds at Mississippi State Monday evening. Morrison, who saw time at the point guard spot when Gabby Connally left the game due to injury, played 39 minutes against the Bulldogs from Starkville.

» Georgia has outrebounded its last two opponents, owning a 34-38 edge against Texas A&M and a 35-32 advantage against Mississippi State.

» A large reason for Georgia’s rebounding success can be credited to Jenna Staiti. The redshirt-junior center totaled nine boards against MSU, marking the sixth time this season she has hauled in nine or more rebounds in a game.
