The Georgia women’s basketball team will be on the road in Fayetteville, AK to take on the Razorbacks at 8:00 p.m. ET tonight, and the Lady Bulldogs are looking to break a 5-game losing streak.
THE OPENING TIP
Georgia hits the road for the second consecutive game with a trip to Arkansas to take on the Razorbacks at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT inside Bud Walton Arena.
The Lady Bulldogs have won nine out of the last 10 meetings against Arkansas and own a dominating 30-5 edge in the all-time series. Georgia has only lost three times in Fayetteville.
Thursday’s contest starts the second half of the league schedule for these two teams. Both squads enter the stretch run of conference action with identical 2-6 records.
Senior guard/forward Pachis Roberts is Georgia’s leading scorer and rebounder, averaging 14.1 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Roberts, who averaged just 5.0 ppg during her first three collegiate seasons, has scored in double figures in nine-straight games.
Junior forward Mackenzie Engram has reached double figures in scoring in three-straight contests, averaging 15.6 points per game during that span.
Another bright spot for the Lady Bulldogs has been the play of freshman Stephanie Paul. Paul averaged just 2.2 ppg in non-conference action, but has upped her contributions to 6.9 ppg during SEC play.

SCOUTING ARKANSAS
The Razorbacks enter Thursday’s game with a 2-6 SEC record and are 13-8 overall this season. Arkansas stormed out to an 11-2 start in non-conference action, but is averaging just 56.4 points per game and does not have a player scoring in double figures through eight league contests. Jimmy Dykes is in his third year as head coach in Fayetteville and owns a 43-40 record since taking over the job in 2014. Jessica Jackson is the star for the Razorbacks as she enters Thursday’s contest ranked in the top-5 among SEC’s active career leaders in scoring, field-goals made, 3-point field-goals made, rebounding and blocks.
