Caterina Don, a Georgia golf signee who will join the Bulldogs this fall as a freshman, is tied for 11th following the first two rounds of the inaugural Augusta National Women’s Amatuer. The native of Pinerolo, Italy, is among 30 golfers who have advanced to Saturday’s final round at famed Augusta National.

On Thursday, Don carded an even-par 72. She teed off from No. 10 and played the back half of the Champions Retreat layout first. Don turned at 1-over over after mixing bogey at No. 10 and No. 12 with a birdie at No. 18. She moved under par with birdies at No. 3 and No. 4 but gave one of those strokes back with a bogey at No. 5. Following a birdie at No. 7, Don completed her loop with a bogey at No. 9.
