Georgia fans will get their first glimpse of the 2018-19 Lady Bulldog basketball team at the squad’s annual Biscuits and Baskets event this Saturday.
Festivities tip off at 10:30 a.m. inside the Indoor Athletic Facility, located at 1 East Rutherford Street on the Georgia campus. The first 300 fans in attendance will receive free breakfast with doors set to open at 9:30 a.m.
Fans will have an opportunity to meet the team and participate in live and silent auctions as well as participate in an autograph session. Head coach Joni Taylor and her team will then host an open practice for fans to attend.
Georgia enters the 2018-19 season with six of its top seven scorers and three starters back from last year’s squad that went 26-7 and landed in the NCAA tournament. Among the returners is senior forward Caliya Robinson, who was one of five finalists for the 2018 Katrina McClain Award and has a chance to break the school record for career blocked shots this season.
