Sunday’s final round of the Ladies Fall Intercollegiate ended early as weather conditions forced play to be suspended and eventually abandoned at the Atlanta Athletic Club. Saturday’s second-round standings will serve as the event’s “final” results, with Georgia ending up fourth on the team leaderboard.
The Bulldogs led following the first round but slipped three spots on Saturday after Jillian Hollis, who was 2-under through 10 holes on the day, was forced to withdraw due to an injury.
Georgia was in a play-four, count-four situation for the final round.

“We are disappointed with not finishing the round” head coach Josh Brewer said. “The conditions were really tough today, and we wanted to finish are round as we knew we could make a statement.”
On the individual leaderboard, Rinko Mitsuanaga tied for sixth at 4-over 148, Coello tied for 11th at 150, Paula Neira Garcia and Isabella Skinner both tied for 28th at 156. Competing as individuals, Stephanie Carras tied for 40th at 158 and Elisa Yang tied for 67th at 172.
“We must learn from our fall season and work hard this winter,” Brewer said. “We have a great opportunity and challenge in front of us. I know this group is ready to attack the off-season and be ready to make the spring season a special one.
The Bulldogs will enjoy a three-month break from competition over the winter and return to action in February. Georgia’s first event of 2018 will be the Gold Rush at Long Beach State on Feb. 11-13. The regular-season will conclude with the 46th annual Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the UGA Golf Course on April 13-15, followed by the SEC Championships on April 18-22 in Birmingham, Ala.
