FORT WORTH, TEXAS—–Georgia won a pair of singles flights and one in doubles Sunday at the Big 5 Challenge on the campus of TCU.

 
The 34th-ranked Bulldog tandem of Elena Christofi and Morgan Coppoc claimed Flight 2 with a 6-1 win over the Arizona State duo of Tereza Kolarova and Savannah Slaysman. Also, Georgia freshman Katarina Jokic and sophomore Marta Gonzalez brought home a singles title in their respective flights.
 
 
Gonzalez, ranked No. 105, rallied past Alexsandra Zenovka (TCU), who is ranked No. 122, 6-7,6-3,7-6 for the Flight 3 title. In the Flight 5 final, Jokic moved her record to 7-1 with a 6-1,6-2 upset of South Carolina’s Silvia Chinelatto who is ranked No. 116.
 
 
One of the feature matches of the day came in the Flight 2 singles final where sixth-ranked Kate Fahey (Michigan) edged 10th-ranked Christofi 6-4,7-5. The Bulldog sophomore is now 6-2 this fall. Georgia senior Laura Patterson remained undefeated in singles as she moved her record to 6-0 with a win in flight six over Tereza Kolarova (Arizona State).
 
 
The Georgia duo of Jokic/Mariana Gould notched an impressive win in Flight 1 Sunday. They upset the seventh-ranked South Carolina team of Paige Cline and Hadley Berg 6-2. The Jokic/Gould team is 3-0 this fall.
 
 
The Bulldogs continue fall tournament action next week in California where they will compete in the ITA All-American Championships and Southern California Challenge.
