Heading into the final weekend of regular-season play for collegiate women’s tennis, the No. 2 Bulldogs are tied with No. 5 Vanderbilt and No. 1 Florida at the top of the SEC standings. Georgia will host No. 19 LSU this afternoon at 5:00 p.m. ET and for Senior Day on Sunday, they will host No. 21 Texas A&M for a 1:00 p.m. match at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. If the Bulldogs win both matches, they will secure the program’s 10th SEC Championship.

 
 
The Gators and Commodores face Kentucky and South Carolina, respectively, on Friday, before going head-to-head Sunday with SEC Championship implications on the line.
 
 
“We have been working all year on accomplishing this and here it is,” Georgia head coach Jeff Wallace said. “We have two really good SEC teams coming in to play us and it is nice that we are going to conclude the regular season on our home courts. It is great that we control our destiny in this race. We just have to continue to do the things that we have been doing that have helped us up until this point. I think our players are excited about this opportunity this weekend.”
 
 
Georgia is in the midst of a nine-match win streak in which it has taken every doubles point and has shut out five opponents, including four-straight. Overall, the Bulldogs have won 10 doubles points in a row. Caroline Brinson, who will be honored on Sunday for Senior Day, has clinched Georgia’s win in the last three matches and jumped up to No. 58 in the ITA singles rankings.
 
 
LSU (13-7, 6-5) fell to Vanderbilt last Sunday, but upended then No. 11 Kentucky on Friday. Freshman Jade Lewis, ranked No. 18 in singles, spearheads the Tigers on court No. 1 with a 12-4 record. LSU’s Joana Valle Costa and Ryann Foster from the 23rd-ranked doubles team and boast a 10-6 overall record.
 
 
After Friday’s match at Tennessee, Texas A&M (14-11, 4-7) travels to Athens to cap the regular season. Current SEC Player of the Week Rachel Pierson leads the Aggies. The senior, ranked No. 22 in singles, holds a 14-8 dual-match record on court No. 1. Pierson pairs with fellow senior and reigning All-SEC Second Team recipient Rutuja Bhosale in doubles. The fourth-ranked duo in the nation sports a 24-8 record and a 6-3 mark in conference play.
