Tech) in the first round of the 32-team draw. Georgia’s Caroline Brinson and Hannah King, seeded fifth, will face Nina Nagoda and Maryna Veksler (FIU). The Bulldog tandem of Mariana Gould and Laura Patterson take on Anna Danilina and Brianna Morgan (Florida).
[su_spacer size=”40″] In the singles field of 64, Garcia will face Michelle Valdez; Gould battles Jessica Cortes (South Florida); King takes on Andrea Lazaro (FIU); Patterson faces Rasheeda McAdoo (Ga. Tech); Shaffer goes against Linn Timmermann (Ga. State) and Brinson will face Nina Nagode (FIU). Second-ranked Brooke Austin (Florida) is the top seed in singles while the top-ranked duo of Austin/Kourtney Keegan is the No. 1 seed in doubles. There will be one round of doubles and two rounds of singles on Friday.
[su_spacer size=”40″] On Thursday, three of the top four seeds from the qualifying round here earned spots in the main draw. Clara Tanielian (Miami), Kendal Woodward (Ga. Tech) and Natasha Prokhnevska (Ga. Tech) advanced to the main draw by making it through qualifying. The fourth and final spot went to Jessica Cortes (South Florida) as she won a pair of matches in straight sets including eliminating the fourth seed Nerma Caluk (FIU).

[su_spacer size=”40″] The ITA Southeast Regional field is one of the strongest in the country, featuring 20 players and seven doubles pair in the ITA national rankings. The Southeast Regional field consists of players from schools in Georgia and Florida.
