[su_spacer size=”40″] It is the Bulldogs’ third-straight season with a top-5 finish and the fifteenth top-5 finish in head coach Jeff Wallace’s 30-year tenure with the program. The Bulldogs concluded the 2014-15 season with a final record of 24-7, having made appearances in the finals of both the ITA National Team Indoors and the SEC Tournament. Georgia’s appearance in this year’s NCAA semifinal was its first since 2009.
[su_spacer size=”40″] The final ranking saw Georgia leapfrog SEC rival Florida and perennial powerhouse California to move up two places from its pre-tournament mark of No. 7. Newly-crowned NCAA champion Vanderbilt finished the season ranked No .1 while Southern California, UCLA, and North Carolina rounded out the top-4.
[su_spacer size=”40″] The final individual singles and doubles rankings of the season are scheduled to be announced by the ITA on June 3. The Bulldogs had seven singles players and three doubles teams with national rankings prior to the start of the NCAA tournament.
