The Georgia women’s tennis team was announced as the Southeastern Conference women’s tennis coaches’ preseason poll champion for the fourth consecutive year, announced by the conference Friday afternoon.
The last time the Bulldogs were not selected as the preseason coaches’ poll champion was the 2017 season where they were picked second behind Florida.
Georgia will begin dual play on Wednesday Jan. 27 with a home match against Georgia State at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
The preseason poll is voted on by the women’s tennis head coach at each institution and is based on a 14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 vote.
