The Georgia women’s tennis team wrapped up day two of the Bulldog Invitational picking up three doubles wins and seven singles wins. 
 
In the first doubles session, Morgan Coppoc and Elena Christofi picked up the only win for the Bulldogs beating Sara Dahlstrom and Sydney Berlin of Florida, 7-5. Katarina Jokic and Ania Hertel fell 6-2 and Meg Kowalski and Ariana Arseneault were beaten 7-5.
 
In the second session of doubles, Jokic and Hertel avenged their earlier loss with a 6-1 win over Horvit and Davies of South Carolina. Marta Gonzalez and Alee Clayton went up against Corina Spasojevic and Lindsay Tulenko of South Carolina and downed them 6-1. The duos of Coppoc and Christofi and Arseneault and Kowalski both fell 6-3 in their respective matches.
 
In singles, Hertel made quick work of Mills 6-2, 6-1. Coppoc for the second day went three sets and beat Marlee Zein of Florida 6-3, 2-6, 6-3. Arseneault picked up her second win of the event beating Fiona Arrese of Kentucky 6-2, 6-1. Clayton matched up with Spasojevic and defeated her 6-3, 6-2. Gonzalez went the distance in three taking down Dahlstrom 5-7, 6-3, 6-3. Kowalski rounded out the singles wins for the day, going three sets beating Lesedi Jacobs of Kentucky 4-6, 6-4, 6-2. Chrisotfi fell in her match 6-3, 4-6, 2-6 and Jokic fell in three as well, 4-6, 6-4, 5-7.
 
The Bulldogs will conclude the fall season with the final session of the Bulldog invitational on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 9 a.m.
