Three University of Georgia student-athletes earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-America recognition for their outstanding play during the 2021 season, the ITA announced Monday.

Senior Katarina Jokic concludes her career as a six-time All-American after qualifying in singles and doubles this season. It was the first honor for junior Meg Kowalski in singles and freshman Ariana Arseneault in doubles with Jokic. Under head coach Jeff Wallace, Georgia has had 39 All-Americans honored a total of 113 times.

Jokic posted a 27-2 singles record and 15-7 mark in doubles. She finished the season ranked No. 5 in singles and No. 4 in doubles with Arseneault. Kowalski registered a 25-4 singles mark and advanced to the round of 16 at the NCAA Championships. Kowalski ended the year ranked No. 25.

The  “All-American” honor is given to student-athletes that earn a top 16 seed in the NCAA singles championship, advance to the round of 16 at the NCAA championship or finish in the top 20 of the final ITA singles rankings. The All-American status is awarded to doubles teams that earn a top-eight seed into the NCAA championship, reach the NCAA championship quarterfinals, or finish in the top 10 of the final ITA doubles rankings.

Wallace, who recently completed his 36^th season, guided the team to its 31^st overall top 10 finish in the rankings including 17^th time in the top five. The Bulldogs went 23-2 with a No. 4 final ranking. Georgia captured the SEC regular-season and tournament titles and then advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships. The Bulldogs went undefeated in conference play, going 13-0 in the regular season, and swept to the tournament title by posting three straight shutouts.
