The Wolf Pack will be the sixth ACC team the Bulldogs have faced this year, with the Bulldogs defeating them all except for No. 1 North Carolina who bested the Bulldogs earlier in the season, edging out the 4-3 win in a third-set tiebreaker by two points. Georgia is 120-65 all-time against ACC schools.
NC State will take on Georgia as the No. 6 overall seed while also sporting a No. 6 ranking in the ITA polls and a No. 11 ranking in the USTA polls. Sitting at 19-5 overall and 10-3 in the ACC, the Wolf Pack finished third in the ACC behind Florida State and North Carolina.
NC State got to the quarterfinals beating VCU and No. 36 Iowa State in its regional and then-No. 35 USC in the round of 16.
