Morris was set to make his commitment decision back in December but he decided to postpone that announcement. Morris made his decision from a new top-five he released just over a week ago on March 31st which included Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, and South Carolina.
Morris recently took a visit to UGA back in February the weekend before National Signing Day.

He also attended Florida State’s Junior Day back in January and Florida’s Junior Day at the beginning of March just before the NCAA made an announcement that they were suspending in-person contact between coaches, schools, and prospective student-athletes due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. But the Coronavirus has not been keeping him from working out.

With his commitment, Morris gives the Bulldogs five for the 2021 recruiting class. He joins David Daniel (athlete Woodstock High School, Woodstock, GA), Marlin Dean (defensive tackle out of Elbert County High School, GA), Jonathan Jefferson (defensive lineman out of Douglas County High School, Douglasville, GA), and Brock Vandagriff (quarterback Prince Avenue Christian School, Bogart, GA). Morris is also Georgia assistant Matt Luke’s first o-line commitment for the 2021 recruiting class since taking over for Sam Pittman back in December.
Currently, the 6-foot-4 and 316 lbs Morris is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports as well as ESPN and Rivals for 2021. 247Sports has Morris as the No. 11 offensive tackle, the No. 7 player from the state of Georgia, and the No. 73 recruit overall nationally. Rivals also has Morris as a top-20 offensive tackle prospect at No. 15, a top-10 player in the state of Georgia at No. 8, and he is currently ranked in the Rivals’ Top-100. ESPN also has Morris in their top-100 recruiting prospects for 2021 at No. 94 overall in the country.
