Donte Williams (Assc. HC and DBs) – Coach Donte Williams’ presence on the sideline makes him one of the most impactful Bulldogs to watch. Elevated to associate head coach while leading the secondary, Williams has instilled physicality and discipline in Georgia’s defensive backs. His experience as a recruiter shows up in the way that young players like KJ Bolden and Daylen Everette develop week to week. Against Alabama’s versatile passing game, Williams’ adjustments and ability to keep his DBs composed under pressure will be paramount for a Dawgs’ victory.
Drew Bobo (OL #74) – Bobo’s recent performance demands all Dawgs fans attention. Named the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week after posting five knockdown blocks and allowing zero sacks or pressures against Tennessee, Bobo has become a stabilizing force up front. His toughness and technique anchor Georgia’s ability to control the line of scrimmage. Against Alabama’s relentless pass rush, Bobo’s protection and run-blocking will be vital for giving Gunner Stockton time to operate and creating balance in the offense.
Oscar Delp (TE #4) – With big shoes to fill of dominant Georgia tight ends, Delp has stepped into a bigger role this season and delivered with steady production. He is a reliable target over the middle and in the red zone. Beyond receiving, he is a critical part of Georgia’s run blocking schemes, allowing the offense to stay balanced. With Alabama’s defense likely focused on limiting explosive plays, Delp’s ability to move the chains could be a difference-maker.
Colbie Young (WR #8) – The transfer from a few season back has certainly proved himself, Young is finally becoming a dangerous weapon for Georgia’s passing attack. His 45-yard reception against Tennessee was a reminder of his ability to stretch the field and create explosive plays. Against Bama, Georgia will need timely plays to loosen up the Crimson Tide’s defense, and deliver momentum-shifting moments.
KJ Bolden (DB #4) – Bolden wasted little time proving why he was one of the most coveted recruits in the country. His interception against Tennessee showcased not only his ball skills but also his poise in big-game moments. Bolden’s athleticism and versatility give Georgia flexibility in coverage, and he has shown the instincts to make plays when it matters most. Against Alabama, where contested catches and downfield threats will be in play, Bolden’s ability to anticipate routes could swing momentum in the Bulldogs’ favor.
Daylen Everette (DB #6) – Everette, now in his second season as a starter, is one of Georgia’s most reliable cover corners. Physical at the line of scrimmage and confident in man coverage, Everette gives the Bulldogs a steady presence against SEC playmakers. His ability to limit big plays while staying aggressive is top notch. Alabama’s wide receiver corps will test Georgia vertically and in space, so Everette must stay disciplined, while avoiding costly penalties. Expect him to be all over the field when key defensive stands are a paramount!
