Bulldogs To Watch vs. Ole Miss

KIRBY SMART (HC) – Kirby Smart led the Georgia Bulldogs to their sixth straight win against the Florida Gators this past Saturday. The Dawgs now head to Oxford to take on the No. 12-ranked Ole Miss Rebels. Smart has never won at Oxford and plans to change that this weekend. After a dominant win over the No. 17 Gators, Smart proved that the home loss to Auburn was just a fluke and that this team has what it takes to get the job done.

‌CRAIG DAINDRIDGE (WR #81) – Freshman Craig Dandridge led the Bulldogs in receiving yards with 39 on three catches versus Florida. His most impactful moment of the afternoon came on a 34-yard reception from quarterback Gunner Stockton in the fourth quarter, which served as the Bulldogs’ most explosive passing play of the game. Dandridge was also the leading receiver in the loss to Auburn with 88 yards and a 31-yard catch that set up a touchdown from Dwight Phillips Jr.

‌NATE FRAZIER (RB #3) – Nate Frazier led the Bulldogs in receiving yards against the Gators, helping the Dawgs to a 27-8 win. Frazier had 67 rushing yards on 12 carries and one touchdown. This was Frazier’s first game where Dawg fans felt he was getting his groove back after missing two games. In the Dawgs’ win against Ole Miss in 2025, Frazier rushed for 72 yards, being key in the dominating defeat at home. With Frazier being back in the game and in good health, he will be key in beating a Rebels defense line that ranks low in rush defense.

‌GUNNER STOCKTON (QB #14) – Gunner Stockton will be a key player to watch as Georgia faces Ole Miss. As a senior, he has established himself as a dual-threat playmaker, capable of making plays with his legs and throwing accurate passes downfield. Although Stockton had a rocky performance against Auburn, he reminded everyone why he is the leader of the No. 2 ranked team in the country. To win in Oxford, Stockton will need to improve his deep passes and ability to read the Rebels’ defensive coverage.

‌CHRIS COLE (LB #8) – Chris Cole will be lethal for the Ole Miss offense this Saturday. With his second touchdown of the season, Cole dominated the Gators’ offensive line and returned a fumble for a 66-yard touchdown. He also led Georgia with nine tackles in Saturday’s win, plus a sack and a tackle for a loss. Cole has proven to be the most dominant player for the Dawgs’ defense and helped shut the Gators out at halftime for the first time this season.

‌JORDAN HALL (DL #44) – The game meant more to defensive line leader Jordan Hall. In the Georgia-Florida matchup during the 2025 season, Hall suffered a season-ending knee injury in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. The key to winning was shutting down Jadan Baugh, who has 807 rushing yards this season and 13 touchdowns. In this game, Baugh was held to just 38 yards, and Hall helped hold the line and allowed Georgia to rack up 11 tackles and four turnovers.

‌DEMELLO JONES (DB #8) – Demello Jones has slowly been making his mark on the Dawgs defense. Against Florida, Kirby Smart believes Jones had one of the biggest moments of the game when he broke up a pass to Dallas Wilson that would have generated big momentum for their offense. Jones also had an interception that he returned for 23 yards. Head coach Kirby Smart continues to praise Jones’ ball-handling ability and work ethic.
