Kenny McIntosh Collects Super Bowl Ring
Georgia makes it 25 straight with at least one player on the Super Bowl rosters.
Former Georgia running back Kenny McIntosh will be collecting a Super Bowl ring after the Seattle Seahawks topped the New England Patriots 29-13 in Levi’s Stadium.
McIntosh, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., sustained a season-ending knee injury during the preseason and spent the season on the injured reserve for the Seahawks. He completed his career with the Bulldogs in 2022 and was drafted in the seventh round by Seattle in the 2023 NFL Draft.
In addition, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald graduated from the University of Georgia and worked in different roles for the Bulldog football team between 2010-13.
Theuerkauf Leads Georgia Past Missouri, 85-66
Junior guard Rylie Theuerkauf scored a season-high 22 points to lead a balanced effort in Georgia’s 85-66 win at Missouri Sunday afternoon.
Notable
* Georgia improves to 19-5 overall and 5-5 in the SEC, with all five losses coming to top 25 opponents. The Lady Bulldogs are 3-2 in conference road games.
* Theuerkauf has scored in double figures in four-straight games. Her 22-point effort on Sunday set a new Georgia career high for her.
* Three Lady Bulldogs scored in double figures, including 16 each from Mia Woolfolk and Dani Carnegie.
* The Lady Bulldogs held Missouri to just four made 3-pointers and 19 percent from behind the arc. Missouri came into the game ranked in the top 10 in 3-point shooting at 38 percent.
* Georgia led for 36 minutes on Sunday and by as much as 19 in the fourth period.
