Opening Tip Storylines
» Georgia hosts the No. 12 LSU Tigers at 6:30 p.m. ET Thursday inside Stegeman Coliseum.

» Thursday’s game marks the 56th meeting all time between the Lady Bulldogs and Tigers. Georgia is searching for its first win over LSU since the 2019-20 season.

» Georgia is 15-1 this season, marking its best start for the program since the 2009-10 season. The Lady Bulldogs posted an undefeated non-conference record for just the fifth time in the program’s illustrious history.

» The Lady Bulldogs are led by four players that score in double figures, paced by sophomore guard Dani Carnegie. Carnegie leads the SEC in three-pointers made (47) and ranks eighth among conference players in scoring at 17.9 points per game.

» Georgia has scored 80 points or more in eight games. It represents the most 80-point contests through the first 16 games of the season since the 2005-06 campaign.

» Georgia has also played well defensively, which is a staple of Coach ABE’s teams. The Lady Bulldogs rank fifth in the SEC, holding opponents to 53.5 ppg.

» Georgia has held six of 16 opponents below 50points. The Lady Bulldogs held four-straight teams below 50 in the first four matchups of the year, marking the first time in program history Georgia has held four-straight opponents below the 50-point mark.

» Georgia has both committed fewer turnovers and led in rebounds in 13 of 16 matchups this year.

Carnegie One of SEC’s Elite Scorers
With 17.9 ppg, sophomore guard Dani Carnegie currently ranks among the top SEC players in scoring. Carnegie has reached double figures in every game, scored 20 points or more seven times and claimed a pair of double-doubles this season.

Turner and Woolfolk Continue to Contribute
2025 All-Freshmen Team selections, sophomore guard Trinity Turner and sophomore forward Mia Woolfolk continue to make an impact for Georgia all over the floor. Both Turner and Woolfolk are averaging double figures, with Turner scoring 12.8 points per game and Woolfolk close behind at 12.2. Turner leads the team in both assists and steals, dishing out an average of 4.8 assists per game, while swiping two steals per game. Woolfolk’s defensive presence has been just as impactful: she ranks second on the team in rebounding at 5.2 boards per game and second in steals, averaging 1.9 per contest.

Georgia Tops Texas A&M in Overtime Thriller
Trailing 37-22 at halftime, the Lady Bulldogs rallied to outscore the Aggies 32-17 in the second half to force overtime. Georgia held the Aggies to a 0-for-24 shooting effort in the 4th and overtime.
