Opening Tip Storylines

» Georgia hosts Missouri in the Lady Bulldogs’ first SEC home game of the season. Tip time is slated for 6 p.m. ET inside Stegeman Coliseum. 

» Georgia opened SEC play with a pair of road matchups — the first time since 1994 the team began conference action with two-straight away contests. 

» The Lady Bulldogs have won four of the last five games against the Tigers, including two-straight wins in Athens. 

» Missouri comes in with an 11-6 overall record and 0-2 league mark. The Tigers lost to South Carolina and Alabama to open SEC play. 

» Freshman Miyah Verse has been the bright spot for Georgia over the last three games. She has scored in double figures in all three contests and  is shooting 94 percent  (16-of-17) from the floor. 

» Two of Georgia’s top three scorers are freshmen, while the Lady Bulldog rookie class makes up 44 percent of the team’s scoring. 

» Georgia started three freshmen against Florida, marking the first time since 2013 that Georgia has started three freshmen in a game.
