Quotes
Ike Cousins Head Baseball Coach Wes Johnson
On the team’s performance…
“We’ve got to do a better job of executing with two strikes. We can’t miss our spot as bad as we did. You’ve got to tip your hat to them, their hitters. We had some of the same pitches, but we didn’t do damage on them. When you’re playing quality teams in our league on Friday night, it’s going to come down to the guys who can hit the mistakes, and the guys that can’t do that usually don’t come out on top. Tonight, we didn’t. We had one inning where we mustered something together, but we’ve got to do a better job of grinding out at bats and executing pitches in the areas we’re trying to get them to with two strikes.”

KEY QUOTES
Co-Head Coach Ryan Roberts
On Friday’s road win…
“This team is very resilient, so coming down to that last routine is huge, especially in the postseason. Ja’ Free [Scott] came in and hit that routine like she did, and it always comes down to those quarter tenths in postseason, so I was really proud of that. Overall, time and time again, they’ve been stepping up. If someone has to step in because of an injury or a change in the lineup, they keep going forward. I’m very impressed and very excited for this team moving forward.”
