WTEN: Defending National Champ Georgia Opens 2025 at the Kitty Harrison Invitational

The defending NCAA women’s tennis champions, Georgia Bulldogs, officially begin their 2025 fall season at the Kitty Harrison Invitational Sept. 12-14, in Chapel Hill, N.C. at the Chewning Tennis Center.
The tournament is held in honor of Kitty Harrison, who was the former North Carolina women’s tennis coach from 1977 to 1998, leading the Tar Heels to four ACC Championships.
The Bulldogs will face athletes from five different NCAA Division I programs: Old Dominion, Duke , Charlotte, North Carolina and Virginia. The Bulldogs open play Friday at noon, with a 1 p.m. start Saturday and a 10 a.m. start Sunday. Admission is free all weekend.
