Profession: I’m currently working in finance at HD Supply, but I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for creating things of my own. Outside of my career in finance, I’m a huge needlepoint enthusiast, and that hobby has grown into my own needlepoint business, Sissie Stitches. I love the creativity and nostalgia behind needlepoint, but I also love the business side of turning an idea into a product, building a brand, and creating something that people genuinely connect with. For me, needlepoint has been the perfect way to combine my creative side with the analytical and business skills I’ve developed through my career. Long-term, I’m excited to continue growing professionally in finance while building something entrepreneurial that is uniquely mine. Check out some of my designs online at sissiestitches.com. (1)
