The University of Georgia has picked up another preferred walk-on (PWO) commit for 2020. Hammond School quarterback Jackson Muschamp, the oldest son of South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp, accepted a PWO offer from the Bulldogs per Dawgs247’s Rusty Mansell on Tuesday night.

Jackson had been committed to Colorado State and flipped to the Dawgs the night before National Signing Day after he took an official visit to UGA over the weekend.

“…’ When I decided not to go to Colorado State, I did it pretty quickly after I had returned from that visit. I just realized what type of commitment it was to go away from home. I love the people, the coaches, and Colorado State This decision had nothing to do with that. That is a special place’…,” Jackson Muschamp told Dawgs247.

The 6-foot-1 and 185 lbs Muschamp is rated a three-star pro-style quarterback prospect by 247Sports and ESPN and a two-star by Rivals. He makes the second PWO quarterback commit for Georgia with Austin Kirksey who enrolled in January, transferring from Nevada.
