Ole Miss -12.5 over Auburn
Saturday, Oct. 31 12:45 P.M.
The Rebels fell to Texas 34-27 in last weekend’s premiere SEC matchup. Trinidad Chambliss threw a career-high three interceptions, with his last coming on the final play of the game in the end zone. Auburn was routed by LSU 38-17 after giving up nearly 400 passing yards on defense. Ole Miss needs this win to stay in the CFP and SEC Championship picture, so I expect Chambliss to bounce back against a vulnerable Tiger defense and lead his team to at least a two-touchdown victory.
Minnesota +19.5 over Indiana
Saturday, Oct. 31 3:30 P.M.
The Golden Gophers rallied to beat No. 15 Iowa 13-10 in front of their home crowd last weekend. Coach Fleck seems to have his team playing inspired football and right in the mix in the Big Ten standings. Indiana survived an upset in Ann Arbor with a 13-6 win over Michigan. Over the last few weeks, the Hoosiers have struggled offensively. They have not scored over 20 points since their 47-15 win against Rutgers on Oct. 3. With those struggles, Minnesota can definitely play with Indiana and make this one to keep an eye on.
Cincinnati +6.5 over Utah
Saturday, Oct. 31 3:45 P.M.
The Bearcats pulled off the upset last weekend with a 37-24 victory against No. 8 Houston. Utah beat Houston 21-13 to remain unbeaten and move atop the Big 12 standings. The Utes are the better team in this game, but we’ve seen teams coming off monumental wins struggle the next week, especially on the road. Cincinnati has what it takes to win this game, so they cover the touchdown spread if they do not win outright.
North Carolina +16.5 over Miami
Saturday, Oct. 31 7:30 P.M.
North Carolina lost in heartbreaking fashion to Syracuse 31-30 in Chapel Hill to move outside the ACC Championship picture. The Hurricanes remained undefeated after a 52-23 win over Pittsburgh. Darian Mensah and Malachi Toney are both atop Heisman conversations as the top two playmakers on the nation’s No. 1 team. Miami does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon, but Chapel Bill and the Tar Heels will keep this one within a few scores at home.
Ohio State -7 over USC
Saturday, Oct. 31 7:30 P.M.
The Buckeyes are back on the field after a bye week following their win against Indiana. The Trojans fell to Wisconsin 24-7 in Madison last Saturday night for their second loss of the season. Ohio State could be without quarterback Julian Sayin for the season, with Luke Fahey likely being the new starter. A new quarterback could lead to some inconsistencies at this point in the year, but the Buckeyes have too much firepower and will leave Los Angeles with a huge win.
Missouri -10 over Arkansas
Saturday, Oct. 31 7:45 P.M.
Both teams return to action after having a bye last weekend. Missouri is coming off a loss to Ole Miss, while Arkansas won its first conference game of the year on the road against Vanderbilt. The Tigers are clinging to a spot in the AP Top 25 at No. 23 and need this win if they want to have any shot at making the CFP. While the Razorbacks will be at home under the lights, Austin Simmons and the Missouri offense will take over and make this game out of reach.
Record Against the Spread – 23-18-1
