Nebraska +9.5 over Indiana

Saturday, Oct. 10 12:00 P.M.

The Cornhuskers are 5-0 after a 48-23 win over Maryland last weekend. Quarterback Anthony Colandrea, who transferred in from UNLV, is having a solid season. He’s thrown for over 1,000 yards and has a 13:2 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Indiana remained undefeated after downing Rutgers 47-15 on the road behind 329 rushing yards as a team. Cignetti’s team does not seem to be slowing down after last year’s title, but Nebraska has the pieces to keep this game within a touchdown in a home environment.

Missouri -3 over Texas A&M

Saturday, Oct. 10 12:00 P.M.

Missouri shocked the nation last weekend with a 45-17 win over No. 8 Florida. The Tigers had 560 yards of total offense, with running back Jamal Roberts having 211 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Texas A&M ended its two-game losing streak with a dominating performance against Arkansas. Though quarterback Marcel Reed has faded from the Heisman conversation, his team could sneak back into the AP top 25 with a huge road win. However, Missouri grinds out a win behind a strong rushing attack to keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive.

Texas -9.5 over Oklahoma

Saturday, Oct. 10 3:30 P.M.

The Longhorns survived a trip to Knoxville two weeks ago to remain undefeated and No. 1 in the AP Poll. Arch Manning might not have the greatest numbers across top quarterbacks, but his serviceable play has kept his team in every game they’ve played. The Sooners seem to be searching for an identity offensively, as they have not scored over 14 points since week one. While the Red River Rivalry is a game that college football fans love to watch, Texas’ fire power on both sides of the ball will be too much for this one to stay close. Mateer’s struggles under center continue as the Sooners lose by at least ten points.

Ole Miss -10.5 over Vanderbilt

Saturday, Oct. 10 3:30 P.M.

The Rebels return to action after their humbling loss to Florida in The Swamp two weeks ago. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss continues to be one of the top Heisman candidates, as he’s thrown for over 1,000 yards and has 12 total touchdowns on the year. Vanderbilt dropped its second straight game in a loss to Georgia. Freshman quarterback Jared Curtis was absent due to injury against the Bulldogs, with Blaze Berlowitz taking his place. With question marks surrounding Vandy’s quarterback room, Ole Miss’ defense should be able to bounce back in Nashville. The Rebels blow out the Commodores in a must-win game.

‌

Kentucky +10 over LSU

Saturday, Oct. 10 7:00 P.M.

Kentucky won one of the wildest games in football last weekend, converting on a two-point conversion to beat South Carolina 35-34 in overtime. Senior quarterback Kenny Minchey has settled in with his new program after transferring in from Notre Dame, with 11 passing touchdowns and 1,148 passing yards on the season. LSU handled McNeese State 63-14 last weekend, with Sam Leavitt throwing a season-high three touchdown passes in limited playing time. It seems like the Tigers have put their loss to Ole Miss behind them, but the Wildcats are one of the sneakiest teams in the nation. Kiffin’s team gets the win here, but it will not be by more than a touchdown.

‌

‌USC -2.5 over Penn State

Saturday, Oct 10 7:30 P.M.

USC survived an upset scare in a 25-21 win over Washington at home after following the loss to Oregon. Jayden Maiava’s 1,744 passing yards on the year is second in the nation behind Oregon State’s Braden Atkinson. Penn State is spiraling in the wrong direction after a 34-13 loss to Northwestern. Coach Campbell’s team is now 3-2 after being ranked No. 18 in the preseason AP Poll. Night games in Beaver Stadium are always a challenge, but this is a game that the Trojans cannot lose if they want to make the CFP. Lincoln Riley rallies his team to a close win against the Nittany Lions ahead of a much-needed bye week.

Record Against the Spread – 16-14
