“Light up Sanford” marks the start of the fourth quarter of the Georgia-Notre Dame game on Saturday night, September 21, 2019
Before Saturday’s night home game against Notre Dame in which the Bulldogs were victorious, 23-17, fans hadn’t yet got to experience the full effect of the University of Georgia Sanford Stadium’s new LED lighting and PA system. With a kickoff time just after 8:00 p.m. EST, that all changed as “light up Sanford” got a pregame warm-up and then hit overdrive for the fourth-quarter.
