TIES TO ATHENS MUSIC: During my college years at UGA, the South was finding its rhythm — and the world was starting to listen. Athens had its own creative heartbeat, while just down the road, Atlanta was redefining music and culture through OutKast, LaFace, and So So Def.

From step shows and concerts to late nights downtown, I was surrounded by energy, creativity, and collaboration. We didn’t just listen to the movement — we lived in its rhythm.
