TIES TO ATHENS MUSIC: Athens is where I solidified my deep connection to music and the joy it brings to everyone involved. I had a hunch for years that my soul was born 40 years before I was, the deep music heritage in Athens confirmed that theory to be true! From concerts at the Georgia Theatre, 40 Watt, etc. to Jam in the Streets, the music enriched environment of Athens, GA is one that speaks directly to the soul! In more recent times, I’ve been lucky enough to watch my dear friend, classmate, & fellow GA native Powell of The Castellows take on world tours with her sisters.
